I used to have a side window beside a door at my last house; my Yorkshire Terrier could see the squirrels and loved them. I used seed to get them to come right up to the window for her, and they were not afraid of her at all – trained to kill rats in mines, right …

My sister makes her own custard because she likes it just right. Shop bought is ok, but always tastes a bit weird.

To me comfort food is cheese and oatcakes, cheese on toast, pizza, or possibly a pie sandwich.
